« Du cœur à l’ouvrage » est un recueil de chants de graffiti, de ceux qu’on chante à tue-tête une bombe de peinture ou un rouleau à la main. Cela part d’un air siffloté, une blague qui fuse, et comme autant de slamers du dimanche les graffiteurs improvisent une ritournelle, un refrain qui n’a rien à envier au chant de supporters de football : une hymne à la pratique du graffiti dans son ensemble pour se donner du cœur à l’ouvrage.
Les Frères Ripoulain à l’instar des Frères Grimm, construisent le patrimoine oral, informel et graffitique du nouveau millénaire, et réactivent ces chants intimes fugaces, et décidément urbains.

Dans le cadre du festival Hip Hop Session à Nantes, les Frères Ripoulain présentent un extrait de la collection « Du cœur à l’ouvrage », « Blank Graffiti » un kit pour taguer sans vandaliser et « Human Hall of Fame » une marche performative dans l’espace urbain où les artistes deviennent mi-homme-sandwich mi-spot de graffiti.
“Working with a Will” is a collection of songs about graffiti, those that you sing loudly a spray or a roller in hand.
Les Frères Ripoulain like the Grimm Brothers, built an oral and graffiti legacy at the turn of the millennium : a hymn to the whole graffiti practice to work with a will.
